Whitney and Janet have spent over two decades watching capable, well-intentioned women get promoted into leadership roles without preparation, without support, and without anyone in their corner who truly understood what they were navigating. They've led in those same environments themselves. And they built The Leadership Suite because no woman should have to figure it out alone.
Together, they design and facilitate professional development communities that produce real, measurable change, taking on some of the hardest topics in their field, in cultures where those conversations are far from welcome. They know what it means to perform, grow, and lead effectively inside systems that were not built to receive them.
What they have discovered through this work is that the difference between a leader who burns out and one who thrives often comes down to one thing: community. Not a program. Not a framework. A room, real or virtual, where your kind of strength is recognized, where the questions you're afraid to ask out loud are exactly the right ones, and where you're not doing the hardest parts alone.
That's why The Leadership Suite was created.
Whitney Scott is a leadership developer, parenting coach, and co-founder of The Leadership Suite. For more than a decade, she designed and led professional development initiatives that helped thousands of faculty, staff, and leaders strengthen relationships, navigate challenges, and lead more effectively. An award-winning professor, certified CliftonStrengths coach, and conflict mediator, Whitney has spent her career helping people discover strengths they didn't know they had and step into leadership with greater clarity and confidence.
Whitney's work is grounded in a simple belief: people grow best when they feel seen, supported, and challenged. Known for creating spaces where people feel deeply heard and understood, she helps leaders become more fully themselves rather than who they think they should be.
She co-founded The Leadership Suite because she believes leadership grows stronger in community and that meaningful connection is one of the most powerful catalysts for growth.
Janet is a public speaker, data strategist, and co-founder of The Leadership Suite. Over a career spanning more than two decades, she has helped leaders and organizations tell the story of their impact, led professional development for thousands of people, and worked at the intersection of leadership, human development, and organizational change. She has done this work on some of the most resistant and complex topics in her field, and has seen firsthand what happens when people are given real support and the right community around them.
Janet brings expertise in psychology, data, and storytelling to The Leadership Suite. She knows what it means to grow in environments where you're not always understood or seen, and she co-founded this venture so that other women stepping into leadership don't have to figure it out alone.
